Ingredients

  1. Pour 400 ml of water in a pot and boil it.

2. Once the water is boiling add 100 g of sugar to the boiling water.

3.  Carefully break vials of “essence of Babà” included in the BabàBox and pour the liquid in the pot. 

4. Let the water cool down from boiling to hot temperature.

5. Meanwhile, Place the babas upside down into a container. 

6. Slowly pour some ponce on the babas, covering all sides. Repeat the process every 5 minutes until there is no ponce left. 

7. Gently place the babas in horizontal position and use the remaining ponce to soak the babas one last time.

8. Wait for the Babas to release the excess ponce while at rest. 

9. Serve the Babas plain or with cream and chocolate, black cherry or strawberry cream, and/or garnish them with fresh fruit. 

For a better experience, enjoy the babà with a sweet liqueur, a bitter, a coffee, or a good passito wine!
